Social re-opening information

Share

Times may now be freer, but we want to be socially responsible, keep you safe in our venue and allow live music and events to thrive again.

Please see below our new entry information and guidance. Should you have any questions or concerns please contact us via our social media or here.

ENTRY TO THE VENUE

  • Please do not enter the venue if you are feeling unwell and/or showing symptoms of COVID-19, or have been in close contact with someone who has a confirmed positive COVID-19 test result.
  • Customers will not be required to show evidence of a negative COVID-19 test or an NHS App Covid Pass to enter the venue.
  • Please consider others around you and help minimise risks where you can. We encourage everyone to take regular lateral flow tests, ideally both before and after coming to our venue. Tests can be ordered for free online here or collected locally – info here.
  • NHS Test and Trace app QR codes to check-in the venue will remain upon entry, and although optional, we appreciate the public continuing to use this system.

MASKS AND HAND WASHING

  • Customers are strongly encouraged to wear masks/coverings when going to and from the bar and at any other time they wish to. Although mask-wearing is voluntary, we support any person choosing to wear one.
  • Hand sanitising stations will remain in place and customers are advised to use them in addition to regular hand washing.

BAR SERVICE

  • For some events, Social is moving from table service, back to a traditional face-to-face bar service model. At these specific events, customers will be required to queue at our bars to order drinks themselves, and are strongly encouraged to wear masks/coverings when going to and from the bar.
  • We would appreciate contactless payments where possible.
  • Please be kind, patient, respectful and support our bar staff during this time of change.

PERSONAL SPACE

  • Please respect the staff and other attendees’ personal spaces at all times, and be thoughtful of others around you.

STAFF / VENUE CLEANLINESS

  • All customer-facing staff will wear face masks/coverings.
  • Staff will continue to clean and sanitise high contact areas regularly and follow our existing extensive cleaning procedures.
  • Staff are being encouraged to take and offered regular testing as part of them working at the venue.

We will change and update our management and control systems when required with updates from the government.

We appreciate your support and patience, and look forward to welcoming you back.
